About Focus Space
Focus Space is a completely free, privacy-first productivity tool. It combines a classic Pomodoro timer with a dynamic ambient noise and Lo-Fi mixer, built entirely to run in your browser.
Why It Was Built
Most modern study timers have a major flaw: they are heavy, cloud-based applications that require you to create an account, log your sessions, and surrender your personal data.
I built Focus Space as a lightweight alternative. Engineered on a basic Linux environment, the goal was to create a tool that respects your system resources and your privacy. There is no backend database. There are no tracking cookies. Everything, from the timer logic to the Web Audio API mixer, runs entirely client-side.
